Mockingjay Part 1 Movie Review

I just saw Mockingjay part 1 yesterday and I need to say a few things:
  1. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!
  2. Why President Snow, why?
  3. Amazing Movie!

If you have not are about to read the book:

Katniss has just been rescued from a traumatic quarter-quell, without Peeta to cry with. She is transported to district thirteen where she is broadcast  around Panem as the Mockingjay, a symbol of rebellion. The evil President Snow of Panem is only growing more barbaric with every death, and if I were allowed to say bad words, I probably would have said a bunch of them to Snow. Violence is around every corner in this amazing film as the rebels begin to step up their game and show the capitol exactly what they are capable of.

If you have read the book:

EXTRA CREDIT POINTS! (Weeellll... You pass anyway because EVERYONE should have read it)
You remember how emotional the book was? Well, for the first time in book to movie history, they have succeeded in making a movie more emotional than the book. And to be extra evil, the movie theater that we watched Mockingjay at decided to casually place some WHITE ROSES in a very obvious spot. When we passed those little roses, I got pretty mad at Snow.
So to recap
  •  Read the book
  • Watch the movie
  • Avoid any taunting white roses
  • May the odds be ever in your favor
