Book Review: Only One to Love: Value His Mission Series

Hi everyone! I know that I don't post a lot, but I'm going to try to blog more this year. For my first post of 2016, I wanted to let y'all know about an amazing book that is not yet famous, but soon will be. This author is truly inspiring to me, as she is to all who read her book.

Gen Taylor is passionate; she cares about everyone, and she believes that they all have a purpose in God's plan, even the weak, sick and dying. On a mission trip to a poor village in Cameroon, she meets children, sick and dying, and she is pained that there is only so much she can do to save them. In an attempt to save more lives, Gen goes with Morgan West, the son of a doctor who is helping the sick, his father, and a pilot to retrieve medicine for the village. Before she leaves, however, one of the sick children, Kagiso, gives Gen a curious gift for a poor, African child - a ruby.

In the air, Gen and the others run into a bad storm, and the plane goes down, stranding Gen and Morgan on a remote island without any hope of rescue. Meanwhile, a strange man comes into the village where Gen's family is working and requests to see the girl he claims is his daughter: Kagiso. When he finds out that the girl has given up the ruby, he threatens her, and swears vengeance on Gen.

Stranded on an island, uncertain if they will ever be rescued, Gen and Morgan wait, unknowing that someone on the mainland desperately wants them dead.....

In a whirlwind of action, faith, and incredible storytelling, Kaitlyn Newlon pulls you into her passionate writing and you wont ever want to leave. I am so honored have such an incredible friend on my team, and to have been a part (if only a tiny one) of  the process that made this incredible story a reality.
